Joining an Organization

How to get started as a participant in SnapBench.

Registration Methods

There are two ways to join an organization:

Your instructor or admin sends you an invitation:

  1. Click the invitation link in your email
  2. Create your account (email + password)
  3. You're immediately active—start running labs!

2. Self-Registration

Join an existing organization:

  1. Visit the organization's join page
  2. Create your account
  3. Wait for admin approval (status: pending)
  4. Once approved, you can run labs

Check Your Status

If you registered but can't access labs, your membership may be pending approval. Contact your organization admin.

After Joining

Once your membership is active:

  1. Dashboard - See available scenarios
  2. Start Labs - Run any published scenario
  3. Track Progress - View your completed labs

Multiple Organizations

You can belong to multiple organizations:

  • Different roles in each (participant in one, author in another)
  • Separate dashboards per organization
  • Switch between organizations from the menu

Account Settings

Access your account settings to:

  • Update your name
  • Change your password
  • View your organization memberships
  • Manage notification preferences
